Prime Minister Andrej Babiš visited PBS Velká Bíteš

As part of the 2018 International Engineering Fair in Brno, Prime Minister Ing. Andrej Babiš and MP Ing. Monika Oborná, a native of Vysočina, visited our production plant in Velká Bíteš.

Accompanied by Ing. Milan Macholán, CEO of PBS Velká Bíteš, and Ing. Miloslav Kafka, Managing Director of PBS GROUP, the government representatives took a tour of our company production and testing facilities.
They observed the process for precision casting in the vacuum furnaces. Also, as part of their tour, they were met with the complete product line of turbine engines, which are mainly intended for powering unmanned aerial vehicles. During his visit, the prime minister also tried out the PBS TP100 turboprop engine by starting it up.
The PBS management representatives also discussed with the prime minister various questions associated with the current level of support for the Czech industry, as well as the government's export policy.

The prime minister also appreciated our efforts in the continuous improvement of PBS’ hi-tech production, as well as the sophisticated production process as a whole. He also gave positive praise to our activities in the field of apprenticeship education and he expressed his support for our efforts to maintain and develop highly skilled jobs in the region.
