PBS Velka Bites Galvanizing Plant Delivers Components for TROLL Space Project

PBS Velka Bites galvanizing plant, a specialist in natural and hard anodizing of aluminium alloys, has successfully delivered components to the space industry. Two components of the Czech TROLL satellite, which received precise surface treatment with natural black anodizing at the Bites plant, are now traveling through space as part of a mission in Earth's orbit. The TROLL satellite is equipped with a hyperspectral camera that will help the Czech Environmental Inspectorate detect illegal landfills, construction sites, and water pollution across the Czech Republic.

"In the field of hard anodizing, we have no competition in the Czech market, and this project demonstrates our ability to execute even the most technologically demanding surface treatments. Thanks to our years of experience and professional approach, we can offer each customer comprehensive solutions, including the design of mounting fixtures and masking of critical component parts," said Pavel Prokeš, Director of the PBS Velka Bites galvanizing plant.
