As part of an ongoing strategic collaboration, representatives of the Czech consortium led by PBS GROUP, including ONE3D and HiLASE Centre, visited Lockheed Martin’s manufacturing site in Fort Worth, Texas, where the F-35 fighter aircraft is produced.
This visit marks an important milestone in the multi-phase project focused on the development and qualification of advanced manufacturing processes for selected F-35 components. During the visit, the consortium presented its latest results and reviewed the next steps in the project with Lockheed Martin technical leadership.
The collaboration remains on schedule and continues to demonstrate the capability of Czech industry to contribute to global defence supply chains through advanced technologies, including additive manufacturing, surface treatment, and high-temperature materials processing.
The project has been active since September 2024, with preparatory technical collaboration already underway, while the formal agreement was signed in May 2024. It is being implemented in structured phases over several years, supported by strategic investments in advanced infrastructure and specialized expertise.
The visit to Fort Worth is a testament to the depth of cooperation between the consortium and Lockheed Martin and reflects the partners' shared commitment to advancing innovation in defence production.
PBS GROUP is proud to be part of this long-term effort.
Together, we are building the future of defence.
