Helicopters 

Our SAFIR auxiliary power units can be primarily seen in helicopters in several developed versions and modifications. The achieved parameters of these units enabling the simultaneous supply of compressed air and electricity, and operating altitude up to 6,000 m, continuous operation for up to 6 hours, and service life of 4,500 hours, ranks PBS APUs in the category up to 100 kW among the world's best. Existing versions of APU Safir are used in Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171 and Z8 helicopters.
