They were participating in the AERO INDIA trade fair in Bangalore. The Defence Minister Lubomír Metnar visited our stand and we also took part in talks with the senior representatives of the Indian army's defence forces, representatives of the leading air and defence technology manufacturers, and high-level political leaders in India. Our representative also gave an interview for Channel ONE, a nationwide Indian TV channel.
We took part in the AERO INDIA trade fair during the third week of February in Bangalore where most of India's leading defence and aircraft devices manufacturers are concentrated,
The participation of Czech companies at the trade fair was also supported by a Czech delegation led by the Minister of Defence Lubomír Metnar.
As part of this supporting economic diplomatic mission, we were able to take part in important discussions with the senior representatives of the Indian army's defence forces, representatives of the leading air and defence technology producers and also with senior political figures, including the minister of industry of Karnataka, the capital of which is Bangalore.
At the PBS press conference during the trade fair in which the Czech ambassador to India, Milan Hovorka, and AOBP President Jiří Hynek took part, we informed the experts and the general public of our intention to enter the Indian unmanned vehicle market, including with our latest PBS TJ80 and PBS TJ150 jet engines.
However, PBS is not a newcomer on the Indian market, as more than 150 of our Safir 5K/G MI auxiliary power units are currently being used in Mi-17 V5 helicopters in India.
The profile of PBS and the Czech Republic was also raised with an interview for the nationwide Indian TV station, Channel ONE,
where we informed Indian viewers about our company, products and our plans for India's "Make in India" programme.
We rate our participation in AERO India very positively. The Indian aircraft market is developing at a dramatic pace and we are pleased to be part of this trend.
