Quality assurance and certification
The foundation of our company's success and competitiveness lies primarily in product quality and an optimized production management system.
To achieve our strategic goals, we implement a quality and environmental management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards. Beyond ISO 9001, we have implemented a total of 83 requirements of the aerospace standard AS/EN 9100, focusing on timeliness, quality, and reliability of deliveries.
By implementing quality and environmental standards requirements into all company processes, we continuously improve. Through efficient resource utilization, we increase the competitiveness of our products. We maintain environmentally conscious practices across all areas of our business.
The functionality and effectiveness of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) at První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. is regularly verified by the certification company LRQA and statutory bodies, the European Aviation Safety Agency, the Department of Supervision over Military Aviation of the Czech Republic, and Government Quality Assurance. Designated product groups are subject to supervision and acceptance by representatives of Germanischer Lloyd and Lloyd's Register based on individual customer requirements.
První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. and PBS ENERGO, a.s. cooperate with the certification company BUREAU VERITAS CZECH REPUBLIC, spol. s r.o. in verifying the functionality and effectiveness of QEMS systems. Guaranteeing and improving quality
We apply the PDCA cycle to continuously improve processes and products, optimise costs and use resources efficiently. We utilise advanced quality planning and control methods (APQP, PPAP) and focus on effective risk and opportunity management.
Protection of the environment
Our development strategy focuses on delivering high-quality and reliable products and services with minimal environmental impact. We are committed to pollution prevention, compliance with applicable requirements, and the efficient use of natural resources while protecting water, soil and air.
Aviation certificates
As a manufacturer of civil and military aviation equipment, we hold DOA, POA and MOA approvals issued by EASA, national and military aviation authorities, including TC and ETSO product certifications and military approvals in accordance with EMAR 21.
NADCAP accreditation
We regularly achieve NADCAP accreditation for special non-destructive testing processes in civil and military aviation, supported by stringent control requirements, state-of-the-art equipment and highly qualified personnel.
