“This is a second major project on the Polish market to deliver new equipment that we have signed in  in less than 12 months. Our reestablished cooperation with Zarmen Group confirms that our new business strategy set up is effective. We are proud to have provided our partner in Poland with top-notch energy products and follow-up service and therefore contributed to the modernization of the energy industry in Central and Eastern Europe,” says Michal Wdowyczyn, Managing Director for Energy at PBS Group.

In Q1 2018 PBS Group signed a deal with Energomontaż Zachód Wrocław, a subsidiary of Zarmen Group, for delivery of biomass boiler for MPEC in Olsztyn.
První brněnská strojírna’s recently signed contract with Zarmen Group, totaling at more than CZK 125 million, includes the delivery of two boilers generating 66 t of steam per hour and an option to deliver a SNCR system to reduce NOx emissions in combustion products for Kotłownia Częstochowa Nowa one of the largest coke plants in Poland. The technology, allowing the plant to use coke-oven gas as a source of energy for surrounding operations, is planned to be delivered in July 2019. With the launch of the whole system at the end of next year, Zarmen Groupexpects to reduce the environmental burden on the immediate surroundings thanks to the use of waste products for other plant activities.

“We are developing dynamically and actively invest in many industry sectors, while also looking for technologies that are not only efficient but also environmentally friendly. We are delighted to be working on yet another project with PBS Group, which provides top quality solutions,” says Krzysztof Górniak, Management Board Vice-President and Commercial Director of Zarmen Group.

In addition to signing the contract in Poland, PBS Group also successfully closed three additional contracts worth in total nearly CZK 30 million, this time of service nature, in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Russia. Their main aim is to extend the lifetime of existing installations and improve their operation parameters. As an original manufacturer of steam turbines, boilers and a supplier of comprehensive energy units, PBS Group offers general repairs for all deliveries using original documentation and original spare parts. Repaired or new construction elements improve equipment efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of emissions.
