The joint-stock company PBS Velká Bíteš reflects the current worldwide trend of the growing use of unmanned aerial vehicles and for that reason, it developed the new PBS TJ80 jet engine.

Unmanned vehicles are becoming increasingly widespread. These aren’t just drones intended for the monitoring of weather, carrying equipment for measuring radiation, or used for the monitoring of oil and gas pipelines. Unmanned vehicles also have a much wider range of applications. PBS is, therefore, responding flexibly to the demand for new engines which are mostly intended for training targets and other unmanned applications.
