PBS celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the production plant in Velká Bíteš this year, has been a traditional and recognized manufacturer in the foundry industry for over 50 years.

The award-winning Innovation consists of the development of a new superalloy based on nickel and cobalt. The use of this material now guarantees a lifespan of up to 350 hours, which is an increase of 50 %. Therefore, the new material is positively evaluated for reducing the production costs of glass wool and its favorable environmental impact within a significant increase in spinner discs lifespan.
The superalloys were developed in cooperation with the Institute of Physics of Materials of the ASCR Brno and UJP Prague. Patents protect Innovations in the Czech Republic and Germany.

"By changing the technology of production of ceramic shells, the amount of alcohol vapor leaving the air will be significantly reduced, and thus the ecological situation will be greatly improved," adds a long-term employee of the development department, prof. Ing. Karel Hrbáček, DrSc.

PBS provides a comprehensive service from design through casting to the final surface treatment of high-alloy alloys. As a result, it has become an important supplier to the world's leading manufacturers of insulating building materials such as brands Ursa, Knauf Insulation, Sager, Woltz, and Rotaflex.

In addition to foundry products, PBS is a recognized manufacturer of turbine engines and auxiliary power units for the aerospace industry and a turbine supplier for cryogenics, transportation, and energy.
