PBS TJ80 is a small jet engine designed for manned and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and target drones. Its advantage is its low weight of 12.5 kg including accessories, and thrust of 900 N.

The PBS TJ80, brought to market in 2018, is an excellent example of the quality and precision required of all PBS products. It is manufactured using 3D technology during the measuring and assembling of the small turbojet engine. 

It is a single-shaft jet engine with a one-stage radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, one-stage axial turbine and outlet nozzle. The output of the generator is 750 W.

The PBS TJ80 also offers excellent engine capabilities such as maintenance-free operation and the ability to startup in any position. There is also the possibility to restart on the ground as well as in flight. There is even a shorter startup sequence, which is under 23 seconds, a huge added benefit to this class of turbojet engine.
