Anodising
Durable anodic oxide protection for aluminum components
An electrochemical process that forms a durable oxide layer on the surface of aluminium. PBS offers both hard and natural anodising, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance and surface hardness of aluminium components up to a size of 150 × 850 × 550 mm.

Properties
Applications & Use
Surface treatment
Hard anodising
Properties
Layer Thickness: 5-100 µm. Very high hardness and wear resistance. Depends on alloy and thickness (shades of brown, grey, or olive green based on base material).
Applications & Use
Aerospace, automotive, industrial machinery - Mechanically stressed aluminium components requiring maximum wear resistance (pistons, cylinders, gears).
Surface treatment
Hard black anodising
Properties
Layer Thickness: 5-100 µm. Very high hardness and abrasion resistance. Opaque black layer.
Applications & Use
Aerospace and optical industries - Components requiring high durability and a non-reflective black surface (precision instruments, optical parts, aerospace components).
Surface treatment
Natural anodising
Properties
Layer Thickness: 5-30 µm. High resistance to corrosion, weathering, and oxidation. Clear, decorative oxide layer (natural silvery aluminium appearance).
Applications & Use
Electronics and automotive - Decorative aluminium parts with medium-level protection (architectural elements, electronics housings, trim parts) .
Surface treatment
Natural black anodising
Properties
Layer Thickness: 5-30 µm. High corrosion resistance with light absorption. Uniform decorative black surface.
Applications & Use
Optical, photographic, consumer, design - Optical and photographic parts, decorative panels, or consumer products.
Surface treatment
Chromic acid anodising
Properties
Layer Thickness: ≥ 3 µm (minimum). Excellent corrosion resistance, ideal base for coatings. Light grey matte surface.
Applications & Use
Aerospace and defence industries - Aerospace and military aluminium parts or applications requiring a thin, protective layer.
