Zinc Plating
Reliable corrosion protection for steel components
An electroplating process where a zinc layer is deposited onto steel components. PBS performs cyanide-free zinc plating with optional blue or yellow thin-film passivation to protect parts against corrosion. Components up to 1200 × 750 × 350 mm can be processed.

Applications & Use
Surface treatment
Zinc plating (blue passivation)
Properties
Layer Thickness: Typically 5–25 µm (customisable). Good corrosion protection. Silvery metallic finish with slight blue tint.
Applications & Use
Automotive, mechanical, construction - Fasteners, brackets, sheet metal and hardware parts requiring unpainted corrosion resistance.
Surface treatment
Zinc plating (yellow passivation)
Properties
Layer Thickness: Typically 5–25 µm (customisable). Good corrosion protection, slightly higher resistance. Bright yellow or iridescent gold finish.
Applications & Use
Mechanical, automotive, defence, electronics - Sheet metal and hardware requiring corrosion resistance without coating.
