Single-channel ignition

Single-channel ignition

PBS single-channel ignition is designed to generate voltage impulses for a spark plug, in the spark gap of which the jumping spark ignites the fuel-air mixture in the jet engine combustion chamber.
  •     Service life: 8 years or 3,000 starts with starts lasting 30 seconds
  •     Expected technology life cycle: 25 years or 9,000 starts with starts lasting 30 seconds

The ignition device consists of a free oscillation convertor that charges the capacitor. When the internal spark gap voltage is reached, the energy accumulated in the capacitor is discharged in the spark plug. The discharge frequency depends on the supply voltage; at 14 V it is a minimum of 3 Hz, while at 30 V the minimum value is 4 Hz.

Why us?

Compact design with minimal maintenance requirements

Compact design with minimal maintenance requirements

The PBS single and dual channel ignition weighs 0.55 and 1.1 kg respectively; a compact device that can handle up to 3,000 starts with a startup of 30 seconds until inspection.
High reliability

High reliability

The total expected service life is 25 years or 9,000 startups with a 30-second startup time.

Service, spare parts and overhauls of aerospace technology

We provide service of the highest quality for all users of our aerospace technology products.

We have long been working to extend the service life of our products, e.g. by introducing new technologies to produce the most exposed parts. Our turbine-based aircraft equipment regularly receives very good references.
