Application of auxiliary power units

Use of APUs in Civil and Military Helicopters

Our SAFIR auxiliary power units can be primarily seen in several developed versions and modifications. The achieved parameters of these units enabling simultaneous supply of compressed air and electricity, an operating altitude up to 6,000 m, continuous operation for up to 6 hours, and a service life of 4,500 hours, ranks PBS APUs in the category up to 100 kW among the world's best.

Trainer Aircraft Use PBS APUs

SAFIR auxiliary power units from PBS have so far also been applied in trainer and light combat aircraft. The quality of our products, flexible service and high level of customer service are reassurance of further cooperation with our long-standing customers and users on next-generation aircraft. Our APUs are used in L-159 ALCA, L-39 Albatros.
