Turbine engine PBS TJ200

The PBS TJ200 is primarily designed as a propulsion unit for modern UAV and UCAV systems, and defense applications.

It features a clean-slate new design with compact installation dimensions and a reduced frontal diameter. Lubricated by fuel, it is equipped with a BLDC starter-generator, electric metering fuel pump, and FADEC electronic control system.

The objective for this engine, with a diameter of 246 mm, is to achieve a maximum thrust of up to 2,280 N. This represents a reduction in diameter by more than 10% while simultaneously increasing thrust by more than 50% compared to the current most powerful PBS TJ150 engine.

The main advantage of the engine is its compact size, excellent thrust-to-diameter ratio, and low fuel consumption in its thrust category.

Typical applications

The PBS TJ200 turbojet engines are ideal for a variety of applications, including missiles and target drones, where they are particularly valued for the saltwater recovery capability. Their compact design and low weight make them a perfect fit for high-speed UAV and UCAV systems. The engines are also suitable for remote carriers.
