We cast knee replacements for the orthopedic industry. We have mastered the technology of precision casting of more than ten different types of cobalt-based superalloy castings to produce them. Our foundry technicians are directly involved in the development of other types of components.

The PBS foundry uses state-of-the-art equipment and adheres to strict production conditions, which give customers a guarantee of high-quality castings for any use. For inspections, we use both X-ray inspection methods and chemical analysis of castings, as well as their 3D dimensional inspection and FPI-testing.

PBS has spent years developing, manufacturing, and improving many products in aerospace, engineering, casting and cryogenic fields. Most of these divisions and many of our products are used by major players in those fields. However, very few products ever reach the everyday consumer. But one of our products that does end up (literally) touching people at an individual level is our femoral component castings. Our involvement in the creation of our cast femoral component for knee replacement is one which brings us a great deal of pride and gratitude, knowing that we are taking part in an important part of the process which helps many people around the world receive the ability to walk better.
