Turbine engine PBS TJ100
The PBS TJ100 are the most popular turbojet engines from PBS, with some variants achieving worldwide success. The engines are sought after for their compact design, excellent thrust-to-weight ratio, low fuel consumption in their performance category, and the ability to restart on the ground or in-flight.
The PBS TJ100 engines stand out with their compact design and lightweight, providing a thrust of up to 1,250 N. They are a single-shaft small jet engines that include a radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, axial turbine, and fixed outlet nozzle. The engines generate 750 W of power through its integrated generator, and one of the versions enables water landing.
The PBS TJ100 engines are capable of reaching speeds of up to 0.8 M and offer the flexibility of windmill start, ground or in-flight start. Separate oil system in come of the variants and capability for saltwater recovery make them an ideal choice for various high-speed unmanned aerial vehicles, target drones, remote carriers, unmanned combat systems, and missiles.
