Application of aircraft engines

Target drones and UAV Systems

A wide range of PBS turbojet engines with thrusts from 400 to 1,500 N have been optimized for use in target drones. Target drones with PBS engines are used by ground and naval forces in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The PBS TJ100 turbojet engine has been optimized primarily for use in UAV systems. With a proven track record in more than 900 applications, this turbojet engine ranks among the top products in the category up to 1,300 N thrust.

Manned Microjet Engines

PBS turbojet engines are also used in manned applications such as microjets. The American SubSonex aircraft is one of our most successful manned applications. Specifically the PBS TJ100 which has powered over 1,000 experimental aircrafts and motorized gliders around the world.

Small Personal Turboprop Engine Aircrafts

The TP100 turboprop engine has been put to use in several manned applications in the experimental category. Stable performance at high altitudes and  in extreme climatic conditions makes it ideal also for use in unmanned propeller powered applications.  

Turboshaft Engines for Small Helicopters up to 1,000 kg

The TS100 turboshaft engine mainly finds use in ultra-light helicopters. Low weight, minimal vibration, silent operation, stable performance at high altitudes and in extreme climatic conditions makes it ideal for installation  in (un)manned applications as a substitute for piston engines, especially in harsh climatic conditions.
