For many years, our customers have appreciated our competence in the field of precision castings of spinner discs. These are very challenging castings made of nickel-based superalloys labeled 141I or 2.4879, or of Co-alloys.
The PBS foundry uses state-of-the-art equipment and adheres to strict production conditions, which give customers a guarantee of high-quality castings for any use. For inspections, we use both X-ray inspection methods and chemical analysis of castings, as well as 3D dimensional inspections. In PBS we design and manufacture molds for wax casting, design optimal casting technology, and provide heat treatment and subsequent precision machining.

Partnering with suppliers of major construction manufacturing companies within Europe has allowed PBS's Investment Casting Division (ICD) to offer precision casting for spinner discs which are vital in creating glass wool insulating materials.
We at PBS set high standards for ourselves as well as for our products. This is why our designers and engineers who work together within the PCD are constantly focused on making improvements to our cast spinner disc´s production.
As spinner discs operate at extremely high temperatures and in extreme conditions, their service life is less than ideal. We recently had great success in increasing the service life of our spinner disc castings by more than 50%. The engineers worked with nickel-based and cobalt-based superalloys, which allowed for such an impressive advancement.
