The Stream Turbo turboprop project caught the attention of the Czech aviation magazine Flying Revue.
An interesting project combining the elegant design of the original
Stream ultralight aircraft with the powerful
PBS TP100 turboprop engine from Velka Bites continues successfully with test flights.
The initial idea was to combine the proven, elegant composite structure of the Stream with the compact PBS TP100 turboprop engine from Velké Bíteš. The tandem concept of the Stream and the existence of a powerful and proven turboprop engine manufactured by První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. made this a logical choice.
The PBS TP100 turboprop engine makes the Stream Turbo a unique aircraft, giving its pilots a taste of flight dynamics normally only experienced by pilots of military turboprop trainers.
