In Prague Castle on Tuesday, 27 November 2018, we received one of the most prestigious prizes that we, as a company in the Czech Republic, can reach – the National Quality Award. We received this award in the highest category, Excellence. It was accepted by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Milan Macholán, from the Chairman of the Quality Council of the Czech Republic, Robert Szurman.
Quality and its improvement are one of the key topics in our company. In 2015, we won in the Start Plus model, which is the first category in the evaluation of quality and is the notional step before the Excellence model.
We’ve come a long way in the field of quality in recent years. We’ve invested, for example, in 3D optical contactless measuring of castings, in a device for the measuring of front sprockets with outer involute gearing, in laboratory equipment for destructive and non-destructive testing for ensuring inter-operation, and in the output inspection of our products. At the same time, we are striving for the continuous digitisation and streamlining of our processes.
All of these points were appreciated by the expert jury comprised of the representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which carried out a three-day long detailed evaluation in all of our divisions.
We’ve achieved such success, nonetheless, mainly thanks to our employees who, with their professionalism and skills, contribute to the achievement of long-term targets and customer satisfaction.
